Special Conditions for Rental Accommodations
Occupancy is permitted up to the maximum number of persons stated in the price list and only with the persons specified in the booking. Dogs and other pets are permitted in the rental accommodations by prior arrangement. In this case, in addition to the standard final cleaning fee, we charge an additional final cleaning fee of €35.00. Campingplatz Pommernland GmbH reserves the right to make equivalent changes to the booking if this appears necessary for special reasons. Tenants are required to treat the accommodation and its inventory with care and respect. Please check your rental accommodation, its inventory and any other items upon arrival. Any defects must be reported as soon as possible. We want to provide you with the best possible service – and we need your assistance to do so. If any defects occur during your stay, please report them to reception immediately. If the landlord is unable to remedy the situation because the defect was not reported, the tenant is not entitled to reduce the rent or claim compensation (see Section 536c of the German Civil Code (BGB)). The tenant is responsible for reimbursing any damage or lost inventory and other rented items. During your stay, you are responsible for regular cleaning. Please observe the following upon departure: The accommodation must be returned to us clean and tidy (swept clean). This includes sweeping the floors, cleaning dishes, cooking pots, cutlery, etc., emptying the refrigerator, disposing of waste and recyclable materials such as glass and plastic. The keys must be returned and the accommodation must be inspected by our cleaning staff (please arrange an appointment one day before departure) no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
11
Extraordinary Cancellation and Termination
In the event of serious violations of the campsite rules, the operator is entitled to terminate the contract extraordinarily, and the guest is required to leave the campsite immediately. In such cases, the guest is not entitled to a pro-rata refund for the remaining stay. The operator is also entitled to withdraw from the contract for legitimate reasons. In this case, the deposit will not be refunded; however, the stay may be rescheduled within 6 months. This applies, for example, in cases of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the operator’s control that make it impossible to fulfil the contract, or in the case of bookings made fraudulently or based on misleading or incorrect information concerning essential contractual facts (e.g. the identity of the persons staying). It also applies if the operator has reasonable grounds to believe that the use of the accommodation services could jeopardise the smooth operation of the business, the safety or the public reputation of the campsite, provided that such circumstances are not attributable to the operator’s sphere of control or organisational responsibility.
12
Tax Changes
All prices stated include the applicable statutory VAT at the time the invoice is issued. If the applicable VAT rate changes and the services have not yet been provided, we reserve the right to adjust the price by the amount of the additional VAT burden resulting from the change in legislation. If the VAT rate is reduced, the price will be reduced accordingly. This adjustment provision also applies to the introduction or changes of other municipal taxes and charges (e.g. tourist tax).
13
Liability
Every guest is required to treat the rental accommodation, its inventory and the pitch with due care. Guests are also responsible for compensating any damage they cause. The campsite operator is not liable for property damage or losses incurred by the guest, their fellow travellers or visitors, unless such damage or loss is caused intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of the operator or their employees. In particular, this does not apply to damage caused by flora, fauna or weather conditions. The guest is also liable for their fellow travellers.
14
Privacy Policy
The campsite premises are monitored by video cameras in critical areas. This serves, on the one hand, to ensure your own safety and, on the other hand, to exercise the operator’s right to enforce the house rules and security procedures. The recordings are only reviewed when necessary, and only the data required for clarification is stored until the matter has been resolved. The recordings are not disclosed to third parties. The video recordings are regularly deleted automatically in accordance with Section 6b (5) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). In addition, the recording device is protected against access by unauthorised third parties through appropriate data protection measures in accordance with Section 9 BDSG. By making a binding booking and entering the campsite, the guest agrees that their personal data collected as part of customer service may be stored and processed electronically by the operator. The operator is entitled to take photographic images, in particular aerial photographs, for marketing purposes. If persons or property belonging to the guest are recognisable in such images but are not the main focus, the guest agrees to their use for these purposes.
15
Dispute Resolution Procedure
Campingplatz Pommernland GmbH is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

By accepting the booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts the General Terms and Conditions (GTC), including the campsite rules. The statutory provisions and the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Should individual provisions of the GTC be or become wholly or partially invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
